Preop RN’s Jessie and Whitney were phenomenal. I NEVER pressed my call light for pain medicine. They were on top of my pain needs before I could request for more. They were super attentive to my needs as a patient and my wife’s comfort as a family member. Jessie and Whitney made my first every surgery as “pleasant” as possible with their friendly attitudes. As an RN myself, they superseded my own expectations and they should both be acknowledged and rewarded.
Andy, my recovery room RN, was awesome and so attentive to my recovery and kept my wife well informed of my condition when I was not able to speak for myself.
I was treated like a queen! The nurses were wonderful; I felt like I was in good hands. The anesthesiologist was understanding, and helped me feel better about “going under.” My room was immaculate, the temperature very comfortable, and the blankets were cozy. Thank you all for taking great care of me.
This was the first time I was absolutely confident and not incredibly nervous, and it’s because of your staff. They’re all amazing.

Some of the best meals – not close to what anyone would say “Hospital Food.” All of the food service personnel are some of the best. Thank you, Michael for making our food seem personal.
Usually if one goes to a doctor’s office or a medical facility, one should bring a book. At Baylor I could barely read one page article in a magazine between procedures. I finally felt as though my time was just as valuable as the doctor’s.
The food was excellent in menu and taste. The food service personnel were very friendly.
The nurses, both floor and specialized, were far beyond expectations.
The chef came to my room and was so very kind. He truly cared about my likes and dislikes and the food was good.
My experience was positive from the beginning to end. I received a call from the pre-op nurse one week prior to surgery. She was very kind, knowledgeable and thorough. The anesthesiologist reviewed my chart one week prior to surgery and reached out to my physician regarding my medications; the nurse followed up the following day to make sure I had been contacted by my physician and address any questions/concerns I had. I had minimal wait time at registration and was called to the pre-op area less than 10 minutes after registering. The staff and physicians were very knowledgeable and explained the procedure in detail. They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I understood the procedure/complications. I was very nervous that day and the staff recognized this. Everyone was very friendly and re-assuring. I went into surgery without anxiety or fear, knowing that I was inc capable hands. I was most impressed with the team work and level of attention and care I received post-surgery. I developed a heart block towards the end of the surgery. I woke up to an entire team attending to me. This could have been a chaotic/distressing experience. However, the team worked so well together. The work-up and transfer went quickly and smoothly. The entire team (including the physicians), were very professional and kept me and my husband informed the entire process. Despite learning of this new condition of my heart, I knew I was in good hands. Thank you, Dr. Roberts, nurses, assistants, anesthesiologist and all who were involved in my care, for the superb medical care I received that day. I would recommend family and friends without hesitation.
I have never experienced such kind and understanding care in a hospital.
If I could have all of my medical care done here, I would.

All of the nurses & aids did an excellent job. I appreciate their friendliness and great care. Also, PT did a great job as I had a TRR and I was very scared. They made me feel confident & on track.
